I studied Foundation at Leeds College of Art, at Edinburgh College of Art, and at the Royal College of Art (First Class Honours / Distinction).
In Edinburgh I studied Tapestry (a misnomer for fine art). I subsequently worked as a weaver at Dovecot Studios alongside Douglas Grierson. and taught undergraduate textiles students at Leeds University.
I studied Printmaking at the Royal College of Art and have taught all analogue print techniques at some of the best art colleges and studios throughout the UK (Leeds College of Art, Kingston University, Morley College, London Print Studio).
My print work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy and is used commercially as illustration by Agency Rush.
My freelance photography work has run alongside everything I’ve done forever. It has been used for fashion, portraiture, music, weddings, and events with Chroma Pictures.
I have worked as videographer to musicians such as Kadialy Kouyate, and as editor to visual anthropologist Vicky Polak.
I was taught ceramics by Darren Ellis at Maze Hill, and now teach myself at Turning Earth. My glaze chemistry study was undertaken with Ceramics Materials Workshop.
I have worked as DJ for Voices Radio and for movement meditation classes with Frank Move.
I have been an artist assistant to artists including Matt Jukes, Katie Abbott, Lana Matsuyama and others.
I have worked on architectural and joinery collaborations with Atelier Dalziel and Raf Paluch.
